RAFA Racing Team is set for one of its busiest weekends of the season, with programs competing at Mid-Ohio and Michigan while preparations continue for next week’s Road Atlanta event.
RAFA Racing Team’s busy June schedule extends well beyond the racetrack.
Between a recent test at Road Atlanta, this weekend’s events at Mid-Ohio and Michigan International Speedway, and a return trip to Road Atlanta for next week’s Pirelli GT4 America round, the Mooresville, North Carolina-based team is set to cover more than 3,200 miles in transporter travel over a two-week span.
At Mid-Ohio, the team returns to IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge with drivers Kiko Porto and Varun Choksey in the No. 12 Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2.
After showing front-running pace throughout the season, including a pole position at Sebring, the team will look to turn that speed into a strong result in the championship’s four-hour endurance race.

The weekend is also an important one in IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge competition. Westin Workman arrives leading the overall points standings, while Rafael Martinez sits third overall and leads the Bronze class championship. RAFA Racing Team leads the team standings, with Toyota holding the manufacturer points lead.
Michigan International Speedway hosts the team’s ARCA Menards Series effort, where Kyle Steckly will make his first start on an intermediate oval in just his second race with RAFA Racing Team. Team boss Kevin Conway will be on site at the ARCA event before heading to Mid-Ohio to support the IMSA programs.
RAFA Racing Team completed a productive test at Road Atlanta this week ahead of next week’s busy schedule.
Tyler Gonzalez and Workman currently sit second in the Pirelli GT4 America championship standings in the No. 68 Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, while Keegan Massey and Michael Steeves prepare for their third McLaren Trophy America start. Maite Cáceres is also set to return to competition in GR Cup North America.
With championship battles, endurance racing, and driver development programs all in action, RAFA Racing Team will have no shortage of storylines to follow over the coming days.
