While the RAFA Racing Team has continued its successful streak throughout March, the month began with an even bigger occasion – the grand opening of the first-ever RAFA Racing Club location in Houston.

More than 250 guests gathered on March 8 at the new facility, which aims to build community with like-minded people who will enjoy exclusive amenities and get involved in racing without any of the logistical headaches.

The venue is the culmination of a dream of founder Rafael Martinez. Membership is available for motorsport enthusiasts and high performance car owners who not only seek that sense of community but wish to take advantage of a wide range of services including private training sessions; car storage; service, maintenance and parts supply; bodywork upgrades and detailing; concierge services and the high performance training centre where our expert coaches (who have trained some of the biggest F1 stars on the planet) can help racers extract their maximum personal performance.

Guests attending the grand opening had the opportunity for some competitive driving, both on driving simulators and also switching to golf clubs for a different kind of driving.

Champagne (Madame Zero) and caviar tasting (Altima Caviar) was enjoyed by the guests, while our partners at Spring Liquor and Clase Azul Tequila provided added refreshment.

“When I first started driving in 2021, I quickly realized there wasn’t a facility like this to help me get started in the sport and help me along the way as I worked to get better on track,” Martinez said.

“That was the inspiration behind the RAFA Racing Club. The actual driving on track is very much a solo experience, but the club will provide a real sense of community for high-performance car enthusiasts.

“We’re very proud that our dream has come to fruition with the opening of the first club in Houston, but this is just the beginning. Our goal is to expand the RAFA Racing Club concept across the globe.”

It wasn’t just the guests who were excited about the opening. The whole city of Houston was too! Houston Mayor John Whitmire officially proclaimed March 8 as RAFA Racing Club Day—a milestone that celebrates not just our grand opening, but the start of a new era in motorsports hospitality.
