RAFA Racing Team returns to ARCA Menards Series competition this weekend as Kyle Steckly takes on Michigan International Speedway aboard the team’s Toyota Camry.
The event marks RAFA Racing Team’s third ARCA Menards Series start following its series debut at Phoenix Raceway last season and a strong showing at Watkins Glen earlier this year.
Despite being forced to start from the rear of the field after qualifying was rained out, the Canadian second-generation racer charged through the pack aboard the No.2 Toyota Camry and ran competitively before suffering a water line issue.
Now the team turns its attention to one of NASCAR’s fastest venues, with Steckly set to make his first ARCA start on an intermediate oval.
“Michigan is another big opportunity for me,” said Steckly.
“It’s my first ARCA start on an intermediate track and only my second race with RAFA Racing Team, so I’m focused on continuing to learn, building experience, and putting together a strong weekend.
“I’m thankful to everyone who has made this opportunity possible, and I’m extremely excited to get after it.”
The Henry Ford Health 200 is scheduled for Friday, June 5, at Michigan International Speedway. The 100-lap, 200-mile race is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on FS2, with streaming available through the FOX Sports App. MRN and SiriusXM will also provide radio coverage.
